Meet Chad. Not just your ordinary, average guy. Chad just passed his fourth exam in a row to get his CPA. Not only did he pass each test on the first try, a feat that has never been done before, (as far as we know) but he passed with an 86% or better each time. Why are we wasting your time with this? Well, because during the course of studying for each exam, Chad consumed mass quantities of Nut Nation pistachioz (not just your ordinary, average pistachio). Pistachio Lore(did you know??....)
The pistachio was introduced into the United States in the late 1890's by a former Syrian immigrant who happened to be a nut salesman (makes sense).
Pistachios grow on 20 foot tall trees that thrive with little or no rainfall. They cannot tolerate humidity or excess moisture (which would be why we can't grow them in Kansas). The trees live for hundreds of years and in fact, Iran boasts of a 700 year old tree still living!
Pistachios are currently cultivated as a commercial crop in California, Italy, Turkey and Iran. The U.S. is the second largest producer in the world.
